Beveridge & Diamond represented Coastal Foodshed during the formation of a non-profit entity and with respect to related corporate matters. Based in New Bedford, Massachusetts, coastal Foodshed’s mission is to strengthen the local food economy by making it easier for growers to sell, and consumers to buy, healthy, affordable, local foods. In furtherance of that mission, Coastal Foodshed provides Farmers Markets, Farm Shares, a Mobile Farm Stand, food education, and public events in southeastern Massachusetts. Since its launch in 2017, B&D has continued to provide advice to Coastal Foodshed on corporate structure and management, contractual issues, and fundraising matters.
