Streets Forward is a fiscally-sponsored nonprofit project at the forefront of the movement for safe, equitable, and sustainable streets. Streets Forward is making it safer and faster for people to walk, bike, and take public transportation in San Francisco by organizing people who support its vision, researching and publishing public policy proposals, and advocating for policies and infrastructure improvements that are proven to help people shift trips from cars to sustainable transportation.
