Trees4Travel is a start-up, established in 2020 and at the cutting edge of mindful travel. The basic premise of the business is to offer travelers a user-friendly tool to calculate the carbon impact of their trip and convert that impact into the purchase of the number of trees that need to be planted to help offset that carbon footprint. In addition, each tree planted results in the traveler acquiring a share in an investment into United Nations’ certified renewable energy project.

Akin Gump LLP has been engaged on a pro bono basis by Trees4Travel to act as their legal advisors and assist them with a range of projects and matters that arise and evolve as the company grows.
