Anjali Deshmukh, JD ’13, Joins Seton Hall Law Faculty

Dr. Anjali Deshmukh has been appointed associate professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law, where she teaches food and drug law and administrative law.

A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Deshmukh brings an interdisciplinary background to her teaching that spans medicine, litigation, and regulatory policy. Her research focuses on the impact of pharmaceutical law and regulation on patient health outcomes, particularly for children.

Before joining Seton Hall, Dr. Deshmukh taught at Georgia State University College of Law and was recognized in 2023 as a health law scholar by the American Society for Law, Medicine, and Ethics. She previously served as a fellow at the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and as a pharmaceutical litigation associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
