Bill Otis, JD ‘74, Nominated to U.S. Sentencing Commission
President Donald Trump announced four nominees to the U.S Sentencing Commission, including Bill Otis, former special counsel to President George H.W. Bush and an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center. Otis has held a number of positions in the federal government including chief of the appellate division, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, and counselor to the administrator, Drug Enforcement Administration.
