Brian T. Daly, JD ’96, Appointed Director of SEC’s Division of Investment Management
Brian T. Daly was named director of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Investment Management. Daly joined the SEC after four years as a partner in the investment management practice at Akin Gump in New York. He previously held senior roles at Schulte Roth & Zabel, Millennium Partners, and Raptor Capital Management and co-founded Kepos Capital, serving as its chief legal and compliance officer. Earlier in his career, Daly also taught legal ethics at Yale Law School and served on the board of the Managed Funds Association.
While at Stanford Law, he was an associate editor on the Stanford Law Review and the editor-in-chief of the Stanford Journal of International Law.
