David Studdert, professor of law and professor of health policy in the School of Medicine, was named Stanford University’s vice provost and dean of research in September 2023. Studdert is a leading expert in the fields of health law and empirical legal research. His scholarship explores how the legal system influences the health and well-being of populations.
