Gordon Scholarship Celebrated; Wins Law & Society Award

Robert Gordon, professor of law and noted legal historian, authored a newly published collection of legal history essays called Taming the Past: Essays on Law in History and History in Law. The essays were the subject of a two-day gathering of legal historians at Stanford Law School in late January. Gordon is also the co-winner of the Law & Society Association’s Stanton Wheeler Mentorship Award, presented in June at the association’s meeting in Toronto.
