The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society, elected Henry T. “Hank” Greely (BA ’74), Deane F. and Kate Edelman Johnson Professor of Law, to be a fellow, an honor bestowed upon members by their peers. Greely was recognized for his contributions to the public policy debate surrounding emerging technologies— specifically, stem cell research and human genetics. He is one of ten Stanford professors being honored by the AAAS this year.
