In February, Ian Kellogg was appointed to the district court in Colorado’s 2nd Judicial District in Denver. Before taking the bench, Kellogg served for three years as a trial attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission and for eight years as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Colorado. He previously worked in private practice and as a law clerk for then-Judge Neil Gorsuch on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Several of Kellogg’s ‘07 classmates attended his investiture, including John Partridge, Jameson Jones, David Moskowitz, and Judge Laurie Dean, who was appointed to the Colorado state court bench in January 2020.
