Jacob Reses was tapped to serve as chief of staff to Vice President JD Vance, for whom he also served as chief of staff when Vance was a U.S. Senator. After Vance’s election to the Senate during Reses’ 3L year at Stanford, Reses completed his JD through visiting student coursework at Georgetown. Prior to his time at Stanford, Reses served as senior policy advisor to Missouri Senator Josh Hawley and as director of strategic initiatives at Heritage Action for America.
