John Buoymaster, JD ’77, Elected Chairperson of NPR Foundation Board of Trustees

John Buoymaster, managing director of investment advisory firm Pathstone, was elected chairperson of the National Public Radio Foundation Board of Trustees for a three-year term beginning November 1, 2025. As chairperson of the NPR Foundation, he will also join the NPR board of directors. Buoymaster has been an NPR Foundation trustee since 2013 and previously served on the board, the executive committee, and the development steering committee of KQED.

In addition to his service to public media organizations, he also sits on the Stuart Foundation’s Board and Investment Committee and is a member of the Columbia Center for Public Research and Leadership Advisory Council.
