Jonathan Biran, JD ’93, Nominated To Serve On The Maryland Court of Appeals

Jonathan Biran was appointed on December 9, 2019, to serve on the Maryland Court of Appeals by Governor Larry Hogan. Biran has had an extensive career in private practice and government service. Most recently with Baker Donelson, his legal practice has focused on criminal defense and appellate work. In addition, he has worked for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Public Integrity Section and as an AUSA for Connecticut and for Maryland. While at Stanford Law School, Biran served as the executive editor for the Stanford Law Review.
