Kyle Canchola, JD ’16, on Forbes “30 Under 30”
Kyle Canchola was featured on the Forbes “30 Under 30—Law & Policy 2019” list. Described as “on the frontline of law and tech,” he is one of 600 individuals across 20 industries selected for the “30 Under 30” lists from more than 15,000 nominees.
Canchola is an associate at Silicon Valley’s Fenwick & West, where he has worked with clients including Facebook, Sonos, Devoted Health, Peloton, and Coinbase on strategic acquisitions and equity financings and with investors including Accel-KKR, Khosla Ventures, and GV on multiple technology investments. He advises emerging technology companies on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, and corporate governance. Outside of Fenwick, Canchola advises numerous startup companies on growth matters and sits on the board of directors of Bring Change to Mind, a national nonprofit founded by Academy Award nominated actress Glenn Close that is dedicated to encouraging dialogue about mental health.
While at SLS, he was a member editor of the Stanford Technology Law Review and served as a law clerk in the New York regional office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
