The 2025 graduating class selected Pamela Karlan, Kenneth and Harle Montgomery Professor of Public Interest Law, for the John Bingham Hurlbut Award for Excellence in Teaching, given annually to a professor who “strives to make teaching an art.” Her speech during the June 14 commencement ceremony received a standing ovation.
