Rabia Belt and Shirin Sinnar Receive Awards from Faculty Women’s Forum

Faculty Women’s Forum Announces 2023 Award Winners

Stanford University’s Faculty Women’s Forum, which is affiliated with the university’s Office of Faculty Development, Diversity and Engagement, recognized two SLS professors with awards during a June 2023 ceremony.

Rabia Belt, associate professor of law, received the Inspiring Early Academic Career Award, which recognizes “an assistant professor who creates a culture of inclusion and belonging for students and trainees at all levels.” Shirin Sinnar, JD ’03, William W. and Gertrude H. Saunders Professor of Law, received an Outstanding Mentor Award, which recognizes a faculty member with “a strong track record of promoting and sponsoring women faculty members and/or faculty from groups historically underrepresented at Stanford.” SL
