2019 Bright Award Event and Panel

The Bright Award recognizes individual(s) who have made unheralded contributions to environmental sustainability. Each year, Stanford Law School will give the Bright Award to individual(s) working in a specific region of the world. The award winner receives $100,000 and delivers a public lecture at Stanford University. This year’s recipient is Aisha Khan, who is an unparalleled environmental leader and visionary. Her work has been foundational in combating climate change while promoting economic resilience in the high-altitude mountain regions of Pakistan.
