The 2022 Bright Award winner Anderson Jean was honored on June 1, 2023 with an award presentation followed by a panel discussion moderated by Greg Dalton, host of the Climate One podcast. The panel focused on the challenges of conservation in poverty-stricken portions of the world, in the Caribbean, and beyond. Join in on the discussion was Rodolfo Dirzo, Professor in the Biology and Earth Systems Departments at Stanford University, Associate Dean of Stanford’s Doerr School for Sustainability and Ursula Parrilla, Regional Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
