Our seven-year-old client lived with a severe form of epilepsy and autism. His mother was deeply concerned about his safety at school given the high risk of brain damage and death from untreated seizures. Through IEP advocacy, we secured commitments to implement a detailed specialized health care plan and improve communication with our client’s mother about his health and academic progress.
