Our client was an elementary school student with autism, compulsive tendencies, and a history of trauma. After a series of escalating self-injurious behaviors, his foster-parents were forced to remove him from school for his own safety. Our team advocated for increased levels of support, safety, and supervision at his current school. We were also able to secure a referral to a non-public school that will be better equipped to serve our client’s complex needs.
