We helped an elementary school student with visual impairments gain access to the assistive technology she needed to participate in her education. When we met our client, she had not received any assistive technology to help her view classroom materials, despite the school district’s knowledge of her need for such aid. Our team successfully ensured that specific visual aid technologies were made available for her and that further assessments would be done to determine what technologies would be most beneficial moving forward.
