With all the hot news about the new CodeX/Thomson Reuters Challenge contest, and our gearing up for Tuesday’s Legaltech West startup marathon at the SF Hyatt Regency (Embarcadero), I haven’t had a chance to tell you about CodeXinista Julie Pearl.

Pearl is one of the pioneers in startups—she founded her San Francisco-based immigration firm (Pearl Law Group) 20 years ago, and then created two technology companies that complement and fuel the law firm.  She’s a strong friend of CodeX and a great role model for girls and women—and boys and men—who are interested in STEM careers (science tech engineering and math).
