Updates: Katz & Sangha
Daniel Martin Katz (Affiliated Faculty @ CodeX) launched Fin [Legal] Tech in Chicago, on the same day that five million+ ecstatic baseball fans poured into the city to participate in the parade for the Cub’s success at the World Series after 108 years. Both events went well!

Check out my report on Above The Law. The conference included more than 25 speakers—their excellent presentations will soon be available online.
A belated shout-out to CodeX Fellow Gurinder “Gary” Sangha, who was named a 2016 Legal Rebel by the ABA Journal in its Sept. issue. Here is Sangha’s story, by Lorelei Laird. (Sorry for the delay: I was moving and never got my copy.)

The annual cover story, now in its eighth year, identifies and honors leaders who “are remaking their corners of the legal profession,” says ABA J. Other 2016 winners this year include Jimoh Ovbiagele, Mary Shen O’Carroll, J.J. Prescott, Maura Grossman, David Colarusso, Deborah Read, Mani Suri, Sarah Glassmeyer and last year’s ABA president, William Hubbard.
