SLS Lecturer Alicia Seiger will moderate a discussion with:
- David Hayes, former Special Assistant to the President for Climate Policy, who helped to author many of the climate provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act.
- Dana Johnson, Senior Director of Strategy and Federal Policy, WE ACT for Environmental Justice, which works to build healthy communities by assuring that people of color and/or low-income folks participate meaningfully in the creation of sound and fair environmental health and protection policies and practices.
- Brandon Dennison, CEO, Coalfield Development, which strives to cultivate communities of opportunity and promote a just transition in central Appalachia.
The talk will start at 12:50 pm. Lunch will be available before the talk in Crocker Courtyard to individuals who RSVP-ed.
