Stanford Congressional Quantum Bootcamp
The Stanford Congressional Quantum Bootcamp is an intensive educational program designed to bring Members of Congress and their staff up to speed on the complex and rapidly evolving field of quantum technology. The in person bootcamp is hosted by Stanford University, leveraging its academic resources and expertise in quantum physics, engineering, computer science, law, ethics, innovation policy, and geopolitical strategy. The main goal of the bootcamp is to educate Washington D.C. policymakers on the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics, its applications in areas such as computing, sensing, simulation, networking, encryption, and materials science, its relationship to AI, and its market value in sectors ranging from Healthcare to Finance, and Energy to Defense.
