In the wake of the election, many of us are planning to engage in activism and protest. And, this often involves social media, phones, and technology generally–which can be used against us. That’s not a reason to stop fighting, but it is a reason to take some basic precautions!

A technologist from the Electronic Frontier Foundation is coming to Stanford the week after Thanksgiving to conduct a brief privacy training. It will be geared toward those interested in activism, but it will be nonpartisan and should be generally useful to anyone interested in becoming tech-savvy. All are welcome!
