Davida was lead counsel for Dominion Voting Systems in its lawsuit against Fox News Network, asserting the network broadcast false claims that Dominion rigged the 2020 presidential election; that case was settled in April 2023 for a historic $787.5 million, on the eve of trial. Davida and her team have since pursued similar defamation claims on behalf of Dominion against other defendants—including Newsmax Media, Mike Lindell, Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and One America News Network—and have generated millions of dollars of additional settlements.

In addition to her groundbreaking work on defamation and elections, Davida also has a wealth of experience across other legal frontiers: she is lead counsel in the Open AI MDL, representing the New York Times and other plaintiffs in their suits against Microsoft and OpenAi for copyright infringement. The landmark complaint marks the first time a newspaper publisher has sued the developers of a large-language model, alleging that responses to user queries are unlawfully reproducing the newspaper’s content. And, Davida is co-leading a class action against PornHub parent company, MindGeek, over allegations that MindGeek violated federal sex trafficking and child pornography laws by knowingly posting, enabling the posting of, and profiting from thousands of pornographic videos featuring persons under the age of 18.
