Biography
Alina Malshe is a Silicon Valley native, known for her meticulous, unwavering reliability and tenacious commitment. She brings a diverse background spanning administrative excellence, economics, operations, and customer-centric services. Alina holds a B.A. in Economics/Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside.
Alina’s professional journey includes her impactful contributions to innovative industries and meaningful initiatives. In the autonomous vehicle industry, she played an integral role in the development of groundbreaking lidar technology, enabling first real-world deployments of autonomous transportation and next-generation safety features at scale. Though the journey involved rigorous challenges, the rewarding outcome remains one of her proudest achievements, culminating in the company’s successful transition to becoming a publicly traded enterprise. Alina also contributed to advancing the aerospace economy by working with an organization dedicated to promoting equitable ownership for historically excluded communities as part of a White House initiative. She was part of a team recognized with the prestigious 2024 NASA Space Tech Catalyst Prize for their outstanding contributions to the mission.
As the daughter of Asian immigrants, Alina is deeply inspired by her family’s story of resilience and determination. Her father’s journey as a refugee who built a successful business in the machining industry instilled in her core values of integrity, adaptability, and continuous learning—principles that guide her professional and personal life.
Outside of work, Alina channels her creativity through beauty and makeup, experimenting with products and techniques to express individuality and artistry. She also enjoys walking, hiking, and spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, finding inspiration and peace in nature. Cooking and baking allow her to explore diverse cultural flavors while sharing her love and care through food.
A fun fact about Alina is her love for butterflies, which symbolize her approach to growth and transformation. Much like the butterfly’s metamorphic journey, she believes in the power of resilience and continuous personal development, embracing life’s changes to achieve her fullest potential.
