About the Forum
Program Overview
Agentic AI is rapidly changing how companies operate, make decisions, execute transactions, and manage financial and operational workflows. For boards and audit committees, the question is no longer simply how to oversee AI. It is how governance, controls, assurance, and accountability must evolve when AI systems can act on behalf of the enterprise.
The Stanford Directors’ College Agentic Audit Forum is an intensive three-day program bringing together leading directors, executives, academics, and practitioners to explore the emerging governance framework for agentic AI.
What the Forum Will Examine
Through faculty-led discussions, practical workshops, peer exchange, and a boardroom simulation, participants will examine how audit committees should approach:

Friday, October 23
The New Audit Mandate
Beginning in the late afternoon to allow participants to travel earlier in the day, the program will open with arrival and orientation, followed by a keynote dinner exploring the rise of the agentic enterprise and the implications for board and audit committee oversight.
Saturday, October 24
Governing Agentic Financial and Control Environments
A full day of faculty sessions, enterprise cases, workshops, peer roundtables, and an immersive boardroom simulation focused on agentic AI, ICFR, evidence, assurance, audit, disclosure, and accountability.
Sunday, October 25
Continuous Governance
Working sessions on agent identity, third-party and supply-chain risk, continuous assurance, and the evolving audit committee operating model, concluding with an individual 90-day Agentic Audit action plan. The program will conclude with lunch, leaving the remainder of the day available for travel.
