Biography
Brian is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Nutanix, Inc. He was previously General Counsel at Lyten, Inc., Juniper Networks, Inc., and KLA-Tencor Corporation, as well as senior legal positions at Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Brian is a member of the Board of Directors of Family Supportive Housing, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shelter and support services to homeless families. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Law Foundation Silicon Valley, whose mission is to advance the rights of underrepresented individuals and families in the community through legal services, strategic advocacy, and educational outreach. Additionally, Brian is a Trustee of the Forman School, a co-educational boarding and day school in Litchfield, Connecticut, offering a college preparatory curriculum exclusively for students with learning differences such as ADD/ADHD and dyslexia.
Brian previously taught legal ethics at Southern University Law Center and the University of Buffalo Law School.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rochester and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Buffalo Law School. He has been recognized as Bay Area’s General Counsel of the Year by the San Jose Business Journal/SF Business Times, and was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by the Ethisphere Institute.
