Austin Peters

Biography
Austin Peters is a recent graduate of SLS and the Stanford Ph.D. program in political science. His research uses natural language processing, machine learning, and other data science tools to study various topics within civil procedure and statutory interpretation. His work has been published (or is forthcoming) in the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and the Northwestern University Law Review. Before coming to Stanford, Austin earned a B.A. in political science magna cum laude from UCSD, where he also minored in economics. He is currently clerking on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
