Biography
Marilyn Bautista has expertise in the areas of contracts, business law and legislative drafting. As a lecturer at Stanford Law School, she teaches a popular, practical and long-established course in writing contracts and managing business transactions. Additionally, she launched a novel course to train students to draft and analyze federal legislation. Her courses are notable for her interactive teaching style and real world application.
Before joining the Stanford Law School faculty in 1999, she clerked for a U.S. bankruptcy judge and practiced in the areas of commercial, corporate and bankruptcy law.
