The Stanford Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties is excited to host a symposium this spring addressing “Democracy in the Digital Age.” This symposium will explore novel issues arising at the intersection of civil liberties and technology across a variety of issue areas. Through four sessions focusing on different substantive areas, we will explore what questions are at the forefront of legal questions and discuss what strategies can be used to promote civil liberties in a time of accelerating innovation.
