This presentation will discuss the results of a multi-country study regarding the evolution and changes occurred in the provision of high-end corporate legal services in fifteen Latin American countries and Spain between 1990 and 2015.

The underlying research, drawn from a combination of interview and quantitative data, historical records, and other sources will soon be published in a book (Big Law in Latin America: Globalization and adjustments in the provision of high-end corporate legal services) co-edited by Professors Manuel A. Gómez and Rogelio Pérez-Perdomo with support from the Stanford Project on the Future of the Legal Profession, and funded by a generous gift from Sidley Austin.
