Innocent on Death Row: 30 Years Later with Professor Larry Marshall
- This event has passed.
Rolando Cruz spent 11 years on Death Row for a crime he did not commit. Stanford Law School Professor Larry Marshall worked for five years to help bring Mr. Cruz’s truth to light and allow him to return home.
On the 30th anniversary of Mr. Cruz’s acquittal, which made national headlines and ignited deeper questions about the death penalty and its application, join us on November 11th to hear Professor Marshall’s account of this deeply challenging, personal, and impactful experience.
Following his talk, Professor Marshall will host a small group at his house for dinner and continued discussion of the case, the death penalty, post-conviction advocacy, and finding one’s mission in the law.
