Inside Mass Tort Litigation: A Lunch Talk with Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers
Some of the nation’s most consequential litigation — over the opioid crisis, the Roundup herbicide, and children’s safety on the Roblox platform — is being led by a small group of plaintiffs’ lawyers. In this lunchtime talk, some of these leading lawyers will discuss how cases of this scale are built and litigated, what the day-to-day work of representing plaintiffs in mass torts and multidistrict litigation actually involves, and what career paths in plaintiffs’-side litigation look like. Moderated by Professor Nora Freeman Engstrom. Open to the Stanford community; no legal background required. Lunch provided.
