Picking a Winning Jury: Lessons from Lisa Blue
Join the Plaintiffs’ Law Association for a lunchtime talk with Lisa Blue, a renowned trial lawyer and jury selection expert. Drawing on her training as a PhD in psychology, Lisa is widely considered to be peerless when it comes to voir dire. She has written some of the best known guides on jury selection for plaintiffs’ attorneys and selected juries for some of the biggest plaintiffs’ verdicts in history. At this lunch time talk, Lisa will teach her techniques for learning juror biases and getting jurors struck for cause.
In addition to being a jury selection expert, Lisa hasĀ earned over $350 million in winning verdicts and millions more in settlements for her clients. She won the largest mesothelioma verdict in the state of Texas to date ($55 million) and was a member of the trial team in a Texas Vioxx case that resulted in a $253 million verdict. She is also a past president of the American Association of Justice.
