WSL is excited to host Judge Friedland for a lunch event on Friday, May 15th from 12:45pm – 2pm to discuss her varied career path as a law clerk, private practice litigator, professor, and now judge.

Michelle Friedland is a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. A graduate of Stanford Law School, Judge Friedland taught for two years at SLS before entering private practice at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, where she was a litigation associate and then partner. She litigated cases in the state and federal trial and appellate courts, with a particular focus on constitutional and antitrust issues.
