Mengyi Xu is a 2L who is passionate about international law, development, legal design and innovation. She graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs in 2014. During her 1L summer, Mengyi worked at the Office of Legal Affairs at the United Nations in Vienna. As an intern with the UN Commission on International Trade Law, she worked on issues ranging from investor-state arbitration, procurement, to e-commerce (focusing mostly on model law adoptions and legislative guide draftings), and contributed to the Commission’s online case law database (CLOUT) and annual session preparations.
