Biography
Jessica is a first/second-year Master of Social Work student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Social Welfare. Jessica currently supports the Criminal Defense Clinic and the Youth Education Law Project. In both clinics, Jessica advocates for and with her clients to ensure they receive the resources, services, and support they need. In the Criminal Defense Clinic, Jessica has successfully assisted in mitigating client sentencing and has provided support for clients past their court decisions to promote continuity of care. Jessica has also been working with the Youth and Education Law Project to help youth and families receive their educational and social service entitlements. Jessica has a strong passion for working with youth and hopes to pursue a career in forensic social work focusing on emerging adults.
