Leslie Bruce

Leslie is a proud Midwesterner who was born and raised outside of Kansas City, MO. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, she moved to Washington, D.C. to work as a judicial assistant for three years. Since arriving at Stanford, Leslie has been involved in a number of organizations, including the Religious Liberty Clinic, Women of Stanford Law Board, Stanford Law Review, Naturalization Pro Bono Project, and Stanford Law Association. She spent her 1L summer at the U.S. Department of Justice and split her 2L summer between Jenner & Block’s D.C. office and Georgetown Law’s Institute for Constitutional Advocacy & Protection. In her free time, Leslie enjoys horseback riding, watching sci-fi and Korean TV shows, cuddling with her cat, and taking road trips around California.

Maddie Coles

Maddie grew up in New Braunfels, TX. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2019 with majors in Government and Religious Studies. Maddie is passionate about civil rights, Title IX reform, and mental health advocacy. She spent her 1L summer interning at Equal Rights Advocates and split her 2L summer between Gibbs & Bruns and Schonbrun Seplow Harris Hoffman & Zeldes. At SLS, Maddie has served on the SLA Mental Health and Wellness Committee, the boards of Women of Stanford Law and theStanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties, and Stanford Law Review.In her free time, Maddie loves playing board games, enjoying the beauty of California, and napping.

Isabella Corbo

Isabella grew up in downtown New York City and graduated from the University of Chicago in 2015, where she studied South Asian Languages & Civilizations with a minor in Human Rights. During college, Isabella spent two summers working for direct service NGOs in Northern India and taught many afterschool art classes to elementary school students on the South Side. She was a journalist for four years before law school, working on VICE News Tonight on HBO, a nightly newscast (which she also sometimes narrated!). Isabella's primary interests broadly encompass the intersection of technology, civil liberties, and human rights. She spent her 1L summer(virtually) in the Legal Aid Society of NYC's Criminal Defense Practice and her 2L summer (mostly in person) at Willkie Farr & Gallagher's SF office. Additionally, she externed with the ACLU of NorCal's Technology & Civil Liberties Team during her 2L Spring. At SLS, Isabella works as a research assistant for Stanford's Global Digital Policy Incubator and has served on the boards of a variety of student organizations, including WSL, SLA, and the Stanford Technology Law Review. Isabella enjoys boutique fitness classes, painting, and cooking delicious meals to share with friends.

Camille Houle

Camille grew up in Boca Raton, Florida, and graduated from Columbia University in 2017, where she studied economics and art history. After graduation, she worked at Morrison & Foerster as a paralegal, and later joined a legal tech startup in New York. At Stanford, Camille serves as the Co-President of the Stanford Public Interest Law Foundation (SPILF) and previously served on the board of the Women of Color Collective and as a committee member for the Stanford University Board of Trustees Land & Buildings Committee. Camille split her 1L summer between the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society and Stanford’s Organizations & Transactions Mills Legal Clinic. She spent her 2L summer at Gibson Dunn in Los Angeles. In her free time, Camille loves sculpture, puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.

Megan Izzo

Megan was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2017 with majors in English and political philosophy. Before law school, she taught high school English for two years in Madrid, Spain, where she earned an MA in education, became a Spanish wine adherent, and collected a bunch of passport stamps. At SLS, Megan is involved with the Community Law Clinic, Stanford Law Review, SAIR, YEA, and the Kirkwood Moot Court Board, and has co-led the Workers’Rights Pro Bono Project and the Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Association. She spent her 1L summer working on disability rights and language access at the Education Law Center in Philadelphia, and split her 2L summer between Williams & Connolly (D.C.) and Susman Godfrey (New York). After graduation, Megan plans to return to the East Coast, where she will clerk on the D.C. Circuit before kicking off a litigation career. In the meantime, you can find her enjoying the California sunshine with a good book, elaborate picnic, and/or her friends’ dogs (shoutout to Holly).

Tiffany Gee Ching Lo

Tiffany grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the Bay Area when she was fourteen. She graduated from UC Berkeley with double majors in Political Science and Rhetoric. After transferring from NYU Law to Stanford, she now serves as Notes Editor on the Stanford Law Review and Vice President of Tax Club. She will participate in the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic in the fall and the W.A. Franke Global Law Program in the spring, traveling to London, Geneva, Berlin and Frankfurt for three weeks. Tiffany spent her 1L summer virtually at Adobe and Perkins Coie, and her 2L summer at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Perkins Coie. During the fall quarter of 2020, she worked at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office as an intern in the Homicide and Intake Divisions. She is a contributor at the Girls’ Guide to Law School and the Law School Tool Box, and has been a one-time guest on the LSTB podcast. Outside of the law, Tiffany enjoys painting, playing the piano and cello, cooking and baking, and watching late night talk shows.

Olivia Malone

Olivia is from Columbus, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University in 2019, where she studied public policy and informatics. Olivia was the co-President of the Women of Stanford Law and worked with the Stanford Prisoner Advocacy and Resources Coalition during her 2L year. Olivia currently serves as the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Technology Law Review, Professor Barbara van Schewick’s research assistant, and pro bono support for the New Standard Institute’s Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability NY bill and related efforts. Olivia spent her 1L summer as the Technology and Civil Liberties Intern at ACLU NorCal and her 2L summer as an associate at Keker, Van Nest & Peters, a boutique litigation firm in San Francisco. After graduation, Olivia will return to Keker, Van Nest & Peters. Olivia likes to walk, do crosswords and yoga, think about colors and patterns and textures, bead, listen to comedy podcasts, watch plants grow, read, and text her family.

Hanna McGinnis

Hanna grew up in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Pomona College with a major in Medieval Studies in 2015. After graduation, Hanna moved to Milan, Italy where she worked as a translator and content editor for a travel company. She then completed a M.S.t. in Medieval History at the University of Oxford before coming to law school. As a 2L at SLS, Hanna was Co-President of the Domestic Violence Pro Bono Project and student notes editor of the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties. As a 3L, Hanna will co-lead the RAD Justice Pro Bono Project and continue her involvement with the Domestic Violence Pro Bono Project. Hanna spent her 2L summer externing for Judge Koh of the Northern District of California and her 3L summer at Scott Douglass & McConnico in Austin, Texas. Hanna enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Zoe Packman

Zoe grew up Ithaca, New York, and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015. She then received a Masters in Health Science in Genetic Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University. After completing her graduate studies, she worked as a Biostatistician with the International HIV Lab at Johns Hopkins and the National Institutes of Health. At SLS, Zoe is involved with OutLaw, the Jewish Law Student Association, FLI, and the political action committees of her various affinity groups. During her 1L summer, Zoe worked at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in San Francisco. She spent most of her 2L summer at O’Melveny & Myers in New York City and then returned to Willkie for a touchback. In her free time, Zoe enjoys wrangling her two giant dogs, cooking, and doing yoga.

Mikaela Pyatt

Mikaela was born in Brooklyn and raised in Reno, NV and Miami, FL. She graduated from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she was also a member of NYU’s basketball team. Before law school, she was a SEO Fellow and interned at Hogan Lovells. In law school, Mikaela was co-President of OutLaw as a 2L and President of the Environmental Law Journal as a 3L. She also participated in the Environmental Law Clinic, was a research fellow for the Robert Crown Law Library, was a team leader for the Healthy Election Project, and did research for the Stanford Center for Racial Justice. She spent her 1L summer working for the Tenants’ Rights Coalition at Manhattan Legal Services and spent her 2L summer at Latham & Watkins and Cohen Milstein in NYC. After graduation, Mikaela will return to New York as an associate in the antitrust group at Cohen Milstein. In her free time, Mikaela listens to podcasts and audiobooks, tries new bars and restaurants, and occasionally exercises.

Jasmine Nicole Robinson

Jasmine grew up between Washington, D.C. and Kensington, Maryland. She graduated from Princeton University with a concentration in Near Eastern Studies in 2016. After graduating, Jasmine worked as a paralegal at the Department of Justice. She then moved to Dubai where she worked as a Consular Fellow in the Foreign Service. Jasmine spent her 1L summer at Hogan Lovells in D.C. She also worked part-time as Research Assistant for Professor Larry Marshall, assisting him with a pro bono death penalty case. Jasmine split her 2L summer between Gibson Dunn D.C. and the Federal Public Defender for the District of Maryland. During her 3L fall, she externed at the Federal Public Defender for D.C. In her free time, Jasmine enjoys trying new restaurants and going on walks with friends.

Timothy Rosenberger

Tim grew up in Cleveland, OH. He graduated from Georgetown University in 2016, completing an AB in English and Performing Arts. After studying at Georgetown, Tim worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company while completing an M.Div. at United Lutheran Seminary and a D.Min. at the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University. He concurrently served as a pastor in Northeast Ohio. At SLS, Tim is involved in NALSA, OutLaw, the Federalist Society, FLI, and CLF. During his summers, Tim worked with a faith-based consortium in Northeast Ohio to provide legal services for the working poor. He is interested in the intersection of law, faith, and business –with a particular focus on leveraging the law to help people create lives of dignity.

Kyra Sikora, JD 22

Kyra Sikora

Kyra grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated from UC Berkeley in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Public Policy. She transferred from UC Hastings. Prior to law school, Kyra worked as an internal management consultant for the City of San Francisco’s government innovation team for five years. She spent her 1L summer as an intern in the California Attorney General’s Healthcare Rights and Access Section and her 2L summer at Farella, Braun + Martel. At Stanford, Kyra serves as a Senior Editor of the Stanford Law and Policy Review and she serves as the Research Assistant for Professor Ralph Richard Banks. Kyra also currently serves on the Young Leadership Board of GLIDE, one of San Francisco’s oldest nonprofits devoted to social justice and radical inclusion. In her free time, Kyra loves to do yoga, cook, snowboard, and play with her nephew.

Bailey Ulbricht, JD 22

Bailey Ulbricht

Originally from Maryland, Bailey graduated from Carleton College in 2015 with a B.A. in International Relations. Before starting law school she spent two years studying Islamic Law in London as a Marshall Scholar and a year teaching English in Turkey. At Stanford she has worked on humanitarian notification systems, participated in the Religious Liberties Clinic and the International Refugees Assistance Project (IRAP) pro bono project, served as co-President of the Stanford Law Democrats, and is a member of Outlaw and First-Generation& Low Income Professionals(FLI). She spent her 1L summer at Human Rights First and her 2L summer at Debevoise and the U.S. Department of State. She is the founder and current Board Chair of Paper Airplanes, a nonprofit providing remote language and skills instruction to refugees and people affected by conflict.
