Jannet Gomez
Jannet Gomez is a 3L from Compton, California She attended UCLA for undergrad, where she majored in Political Science and Asian Languages and Cultures. Before law school, she worked for an immigration boutique. Throughout law school, Jannet has participated in the immigration and naturalization pro-bono programs and has served as a mentor for Legal Education Access Pipeline (LEAP), El Centro Chicano Frosh Scholars Program, and Stanford Law's First-Generation, Low-Income organization (FLI) among others. Jannet is passionate about using her legal education to provide community lawyering and plans on expanding access to legal aid to several inner-city communities throughout California. Ask me about... Lisa Lu
Lisa Lu is a third-year law student at Stanford. She has interned with the ACLU of Northern California, Keker, Van Nest & Peters, and the California Attorney General's Office. After graduation, she will be returning to Keker for a year and then clerking. Before law school, she earned a BA in Computer Science from Harvard University and worked as a Research Fellow at the Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab and as a Software Engineer at Lyft. Leo Rassieur
Hi! My name is Leo and I'm a 3L at SLS originally from Cupertino, California. I spent my 1L summer as an intern with the ACLU Racial Justice Program working on affirmative civil rights litigation. My 2L summer, I was a summer associate at the D.C. law firm Williams & Connolly, and spent the second half interning at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Special Litigation Section. Kevin Wang
Kevin is from the Midwest, growing up in Chicago (but the suburbs) before graduating from Washington University in St. Louis in 2022 with majors in political science and philosophy and a minor in history. He then came to SLS with an interest in government service and discovered that he liked the variety of being a generalist, working on environmental issues in the Environmental Law Clinic and a broad range of constitutional and criminal law issues in his summers. He spent his 1L summer splitting between the California Department of Justice (Civil Division, Government Law Section) and externing for Judge Bacharach on the Tenth Circuit. His 2L summer was split between Gibson Dunn in D.C. and the U.S. Department of Justice (Civil Division, Federal Programs Branch). He externed his 3L fall at the D.C. Solicitor General's Office. At SLS, Kevin is on the Stanford Law Review and the Law School Musical. He enjoys singing, playing guitar and beach volleyball, and is a passionate fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ask me about... Angela Xio
Angela is a 3L from Brooklyn, NY and Shanghai, China. She studied history in college and spent 1L summer at the SDNY US Attorney's Office and as an extern for a Tenth Circuit judge. She worked at Williams and Connolly 2L summer. At SLS, she's involved with the record clearance project, SLR, and ACS. After graduation, she'll clerk for Judge Toby Heytens of the Fourth Circuit.
