Biography
Mikaela Pyatt is a Thomas C. Grey Fellow and Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School. She teaches legal research and writing to first-year law students and is a legal scholar. Mikaela’s scholarship focuses on market concentration, consumer choice, and freedom of expression on digital platforms and online marketplaces.
Prior to joining Stanford Law School, Mikaela clerked for Judge Mónica Ramírez Almadani of the Central District of California. She started her career as an associate in Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC’s antitrust group, litigating cases with the goal of addressing unfair competition and economic injustice.
Mikaela is a graduate of Stanford Law School where she served as the OutLaw Co-President and worked for the Net Neutrality Policy Lab, Environmental Law Clinic, Stanford Center for Racial Justice, and the Robert Crown Law Library. She also published a Note titled Rulemaking to Bar Self-Preferencing by Technology Platforms in the Stanford Technology Law Review. Mikaela received her BA from New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study and earned the Student-Athlete Achievement Award for her time on the women’s basketball team.
