Office of Career Services

Take charge. Explore the possibilities.

The Office of Career Services (OCS) serves as a bridge between students, alumni and employers with a focus on private sector careers and judicial clerkships. Those primarily focused on public interest opportunities may contact our sister office, the John and Terry Levin Center for Public Service and Public Interest Law.

Our staff helps students and alumni to shape and realize their career goals by providing counseling, workshops and many career related resources. We also advise students interested in judicial clerkships, international opportunities and non-law alternatives. In turn, we work closely with legal employers to give them access to some of the best legal talent in the country.

Reciprocity Requests

The Office of Career Services offers reciprocity grants to alumni of ABA-accredited law schools. If you are an attorney but not a Stanford Law alum, and you wish to use our resources, please refer to our reciprocity policy below. Those interested in our services should contact their law schools to initiate the request. Please note: current students are not eligible for reciprocity.
