STANFORD, Calif., February 11, 2013——Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar will take over as director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies in July. Cuéllar is a Stanford law professor and expert on administrative law and governance, public organizations, and transnational security. He’s served as co-director of FSI’s Center for International Security and Cooperation for nearly two years and brings to his new role an extensive academic background as well as policy experience gained from working in the Clinton and Obama administrations.
