The 2022 Spring Issue of Stanford Lawyer Magazine Now Online

In the spring issue of Stanford Lawyer magazine, our cover story looks at Stanford Law veterans as they discuss their military service and how it, combined with a legal education, shaped them and their careers. Continuing the theme of service, the Legal Matter’s section has a Q&A with Richard L. Morningstar, JD ’70, who has held several diplomatic appointments at a pivotal time including U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan, U.S. ambassador to the EU, and special advisor to the president and secretary of state on assistance to Newly Independent States of the former Soviet Union and then on Caspian Basin Energy Diplomacy.
