Description:

The SIHRLA Action Hub pairs students with organizations to aid immigrant rights litigation efforts by conducting legal research and writing and know your rights trainings.

Commitment Required of Members:

Students will be required to attend informational and training sessions prior to joining a project. They will then have the opportunity to join any available projects as they arise throughout the year. Commitment is very flexible – there will be no minimum engagement requirements.

Open Membership Spots: N/A (All students will be able to participate in ad hoc projects. Students will be able to sign up for the project mailing list in Pro Bono Program application.)

Adv. Degree Student Participation: Permitted

Eligible for Meeting NYS Bar Pro Bono Requirement: Unlikely, But Depends on Specific Projects Assigned by Partner Organizations

Winter Start: Permitted; Fall Start Preferred
