Stanford Critical Legal Studies (SCritLS)

Stanford Critical Legal Studies (SCritLS) is a community of Stanford students for whom social justice is an important component of their legal education. We seek to foster student discussion on the interaction between law and race, gender, class and sexual orientation among other topics. The mission of the organization is to create a safe space where students can address these topics and collectively engage in societal and institutional critique. Join the email list to hear about upcoming events, including:

  • SCrit Salons: Biweekly dinners featuring group discussion of short articles and other relevant topics brought by group members
  • Lunch talks on topics such as the critical legal theory framework, how to engage in productive discussions on issues of identity and bias, and more!
