Bright Award Winner Anderson Jean

The Stanford Bright Award for Sustainability was awarded to Anderson Jean, a leading environmental conservationist in Haiti who works with communities to safeguard the country’s biodiversity. Stanford’s top environmental prize, created ten years ago with a generous gift from Raymond E. Bright, Jr., JD ’59, in memory of his late wife, Marcelle, is presented annually to an individual or group for their outstanding work in preservation and sustainability.
