President Biden appointed Anne Joseph O’Connell, Adelbert H. Sweet Professor of Law at Stanford Law School, to the Council of the Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS). ACUS is an independent, nonpartisan federal agency within the executive branch dedicated to improving administrative law and federal regulatory processes. As a member of the council, O’Connell advises the chairman and the agency on administrative law topics and provides feedback and recommendations on the conference’s work. She is serving a three-year term.
